Data security:
The data that you enter on our website for the purpose of making a hotel reservation is transmitted to us in encrypted form (via HTTPS). This data, the type and scope of which can be seen from the corresponding input mask of the online booking engine we use, is collected, processed and used exclusively for the establishment, execution and handling of the contractual relationship established with the reservation.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Disclosure of personal data:
Personal data will only be disclosed without express separate consent to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties beyond this, unless we are obliged to do so by court order or by law.
Cookies:
The Internet pages sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.
Google Analytics:
If this website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”), your browser may store a cookie sent by Google Inc. or third parties that enables your use of this website to be analyzed. The information collected in this way (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of this website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies. To do this, you must select “Do not accept cookies” in your browser settings (in Internet Explorer under “Extras / Internet options / Privacy / Settings”, in Firefox under “Extras / Settings / Privacy / Cookies”). Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Google Maps:
Third-party content, such as map material from Google Maps (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”), is integrated into the website. For the use of such content, the transmission of the user’s IP address to the respective third-party provider is technically necessary. This is because without the IP address, the third-party providers would not be able to send the content integrated into the website to the browser of the respective user. We have no influence on whether a third-party provider stores or otherwise uses the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes.
Contact form:
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at info@classic-hotel-harmonie.com if you have any further questions on the subject of data protection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
